has been the senior marketing executive for several national companies. In 2001, he launched Summit Communications, an integrated marketing communications firm. Gary attended the University of Wisconsin, received a BS and BA from the University of Pittsburgh, a Masters degree from the University of Arizona and did PhD work at the University of Colorado in cognitive science.
|Patrick Seal, Treasurer
is the Vice President of Financial Investments at Elevations Credit Union. Patrick is a whiz at seeing an organization’s financial position and strategically planning for growth and development. As BIPR develops its financial base, Patrick will be instrumental in helping manage our financial growth.
|Thomas P. Briggs
Retired since 2013, Thomas Briggs’ private sector career focused on capital and credit markets after service in special operations in the United States Navy. He translated his business experience to the public sector beginning in 1983 when he served as chief financial officer of the City and County of Denver under Mayor Federico Peña. After a few more years in investment banking, Mr. Briggs applied his experience to promoting economic development and macroeconomic stability abroad where he had the privilege of representing the United States in 54 transition, emerging market, and developing countries and served as Executive Director of The HELP Commission created by Congress to report on America’s foreign assistance programs to the Congress, the President, and the American people.
|Carl G. Maneri
has been the Chief Financial Officer for several local high tech companies. He relocated to
Colorado over 25 years ago as IBM’s Boulder Site Controller and following that as Director of
International Trade. Carl received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame,
and his MBA in Health Care Management from the Wharton School of Finance at the University
is the owner of Black Dog Press. Carolyn’s background in art and marketing will help with our re-branding efforts. She has been very involved in the community volunteering on the Community Foundation Serving Boulder County grant review committees, The Collage Children’s Museum, Impact on Education, and Elementary, Middle School Governance Committees.
is a Director of Global Project Management. She brings almost a decade of experience with project management and contributes to BIPR with her expertise in organizational requirements and project management; measurement of program effectiveness through quantitative or qualitative methods and assisting with outreach to non-English speaking communities with expertise in cultural sensitivity and translation.
