TRAUMA

BIPR is known for its expertise in trauma, especially physical and sexual abuse and neglect. Our clinicians stay abreast of the most recent advances in brain science to help us understand and treat the devastating impact of trauma on the brain.

ATTACHMENT

A secure attachment relationship is central to healthy infant and child healthy brain growth and the foundation of all further brain development.  When children have suffered early neglect or trauma which impacts early attachment relationships, there can be severe consequences unless the child receives the kind of help they need to repair this damage.  BIPR therapists have a deep understanding of Attachment theory and have the expertise needed to help children who have experienced early loss or trauma in their earliest relationships.  We have helped many children who have been adopted.  Helping adoptive parents is a passion of our organization.
