Opportunities:
Board Member Fundraising Focus:
Use your fundraising experience to support the important work of our organization! We are looking for dedicated, passionate individuals who may have had some previous experience fundraising for schools, programs, or other non-profits. By being on the BIPR Board you will be helping to impact the lives of traumatized children and adults. You will also be supporting community mental health education and low-fee psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults. Previous Board experience is helpful but not required.

Board Member Marketing/Business/Finance Expertise:
Use your marketing, business, or finance expertise to support the important work of our organization! By being on the BIPR Board you will be helping to impact emotionally disturbed children very early when there is an incredible opportunity to change a child’s life. You are also supporting community mental health education and low-fee psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults. This is an excellent opportunity for a retired person or for a currently employed individual looking for a means of advancing their career or giving to their community.

Community Fundraiser:
The Community Fundraiser is responsible for interacting with businesses in Boulder known to give back to their community and to set up dates or events to generate small streams of income for the organization. This job requires some detective work, finding ways that other non-profits have engaged businesses. If you are up to a challenge, have good people skills, and are a go-getter, this is the job for you! The Community Fundraiser also helps with our fundraising events under the supervision of the Executive Director or a Board Member.

Donor Relations Coordinator:
If you are passionate about helping children and adult who have experienced traumatic events lead a full and successful life and you love interacting with other people, this is the job for you. The Donor Relations Coordinator is responsible for introducing people to BIPRs mission and history at our introductory events, contacting people who have expressed an interest in being involved at these events and maintaining contact with these individuals.

Event Planner:
Join a fun committee of volunteers to plan fund-raising events. Organize most aspects of event including planning venue, engaging caterer, advertising etc. This is an ideal job for Mom’s who have helped with fund-raising events for their children’s school and would like some experience to get back into the job market.

Graphic Artist:
If you are passionate about helping children and adults who have experienced traumatic events lead a full and successful life and you enjoy making brochures, flyers, and logos, this is the job for you! Participate in our re-branding efforts. We have many events for which we need flyers designed.

Office Assistant
We need an individual with solid computer skills (prefer Mac, Excel, Word, etc.) who enjoys working with others and taking on a broad variety of projects including donor database entry/updating, event organizing, filing, copying, scanning, and a broad variety of diverse tasks.

Professional Volunteers:
There are many exciting opportunities for Psychologists, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists who would like to give back to their community and join other committed BIPR volunteers in working on various projects. Opportunities include helping with our intern training program, helping organize community and professional lectures, helping in our Zero-to-Five program, and helping organize fundraising events. It is a great way to socialize, network, and meet other professionals.

This is a great way to get experience in the field. Assist in preschool and daycare settings, help score psychological instruments, assist with research projects, program evaluation, and grant writing. Weekly group supervision is a part of this opportunity.
